Her images have received numerous national and international awards, and her fine art photographs are published by the Canadian art group Winn Devon. Artist Statement “As I grow older, living life with purpose has become important to me. Creating art with a message is something that is new to me. Our world can be a bit ugly sometimes, filled with anger and hate towards each other. My message is simple: Love. Love that creates beauty—beauty I find in nature. While I make no attempt to portray my subjects as realistic, I want my creations to appear as if they have lived somewhere. I do not take life seriously, but my intent is to live it with passion. My art is just that. Living with beautiful art that pays tribute to the natural world reminds us to slow down and helps us reconnect with nature—and with each other.” Resume Lecturing and Teaching Affiliate associations and state conventions (1996–present) PPA National Conventions: Portrait Safari (1996–1998), Early Bird (2000), Spotlight Speaker (2004) Canadian National Convention: Keynote Speaker (1997) West Coast School (1996) California Photographic Workshops (1999–2001) Maine Photographic Workshops (2001) Mid America School of Photography (2003) South Korea Professional Photographers National Convention (2004) New Jersey School of Photography (2005) Journeys of the Soul Workshops Tuscany (2005) England (2007) Italy (2008) Ireland (2010) Whidbey Island (2012) Umbria (2014, 2016) Art Exhibits Columbia Center for the Arts, Oregon Red Sky Gallery, Washington Tilting at Windmills Gallery, Vermont
