Bob Watkins

Artist’s statement:
I have always found the process of making things, enjoyable. Whether it be clay or paint, the physical pleasure of having made something with your own hands out of basic materials has always been satisfying to me. To give visual form to an idea, so that others could have as much pleasure viewing the finished product as I had making it.

Artists have the gift to make people see the underlying beauty and poetry in everyday life….To make ourselves and others aware of the wonders of being alive. The joy of being an artist, is being able to take time to explore the things that interest us personally, and to share that vision with others.
